History and branches

Survivor's Toolkit started as the 7 Days Mod Manager in 7d2d_mods (ModManager/), and this repository keeps its history. The first run copies the old settings, modlists and backups from %LocalAppData%\SevenDaysModManager to %LocalAppData%\SurvivorsToolkit.

Work goes into the long-lived test branch first, then Promote test and release brings test into main. test is never deleted: if a test -> main pull request is merged instead and GitHub deletes the branch, the Keep test branch workflow puts it back at the new main.
